Summer Term 2
Summer term: Week 5 - This week we read ‘Shark in the park on a windy day’. We have been exploring wind using fans and hairdryers to blow different materials. We even went on a shark hunt at the local park and retold the story there.

Summer term 2: week 4 - This week we began reading our final class story for this year which is ‘Shark in the Park’ by Nick Sharratt. We had lots of fun with gross motor mark making and made our own pond-themed sensory bags.

Summer term 2: Week 3 - This week we took a trip to the Splash Park. It was very refreshing in this summer heat and we loved observing the water!
Summer term 2: week 2 - This week we have celebrated Father’s Day. We read the story ‘Spot loves his Dad’ and have made cards and gifts for the special men in our lives. On Friday we invited our dads to join us for afternoon play and learning. We especially enjoyed sharing doughnuts with dad!
Summer term 2 - week 1: This week we continued our exploration with dinosaurs. We read a sensory story called ‘We’re going on a dinosaur hunt’ using multi-sensory props to engage with it. We have also been enjoying the sunshine and finding lots of opportunities to communicate outdoors.
