Spring 2

For our final week of the term, we have enjoyed lots of Easter-themed activities! We have been making Easter cards, decorating eggs and going on Easter treasure hunts. We also had our Easter hat parade, showing off the amazing hats we had made! We have also been making the most of the nice weather, going on walks to the playground and having an outdoor sensory story as well! Have a lovely half-term and see you in the summer term!

This week, we have been busy spending lots of time outdoors as we move towards spring time! We started off by walking to Asda and buying lots of important items for snack time. We even visited the playground on the way back! We have also been outdoors exploring the water and sand, while carrying out science experiences as well! During class we have been sewing, taking part in our sensory story and cooking lots as usual! See you next week.

It has been another busy week in Shell’s Class. We started the week roasting marshmallows in Forest School. We then moved onto various other activities including baking cheese cakes, hunting for bears in the playground and Attention Autism. We have also been out on the bikes, walking to the shops to buy items from our shopping list, and we had our usual trampoline session as well. We have finished the week by going swimming. Have a nice weekend.

During this week in Shell’s class we have been making the most of sunny weather as we continue with our spring topic! We started the week by walking to Asda. The children were able to pick and choose items for snack time and pay for them! While continuing with our sensory story ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’, we have been outside exploring the water and sand during free play. The class has been busy as well, with sessions sewing bear hand puppets, dough disco sessions and Mother’s Day Activities on Thursday. We even had a sensory story outside on Thursday to celebrate World Book Day! See you next week.

This week in Shell’s Class we have continued with the theme of Spring and the sensory story ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’. We have been doing lots of Arts and Crafts activities around this, including sewing, making play dough and decorating flowers. We have also been physically busy, having a rebound therapy session, walks to the local shops and a bikes session. On Thursday, we really enjoyed getting messy at our Kingsbury Colour Run! Have a nice weekend and see you next week.

We have had a busy and fun week in Shell’s Class...starting the term as we mean to go on! We enjoyed a class visit to Applecast Farm on Monday, during which we were able to feed the animals! Our topic for this term has been Spring, and we have been reading the story ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ in class. The children enjoyed exploring the grass, rivers, mud, forest and snow during an enjoyable sensory story! We have also been gardening, baking cakes, cooking stir-fries, shopping in the local community and had Forest School... amongst many other activities! We look forward to next week and the rest of the term.
