Summer Term 1

Week 6

We have had a fantastic week in Michelle’s class. We’ve been super busy all week, we have worked hard on our MOVE and physical programmes. We have had lots of fun in the sun making the most of the beautiful weather we have had. We’ve been outside most of the week making treasure maps and playing in the sand and water trays. We took our sensory story outside and enjoyed ice cream in the park.  We’ve been making some summery smoothies using berries and oat milk. We enjoyed making and tasting them.

Week 5

This week in class we have enjoyed using jewellery dipped in paint to make beautiful pirate jewel pictures. We’ve had fun in the sun- playing on the sensory playground, visit local shops and using our walkers in out playground.
We have enjoyed our visit to Twinkle House and using the hydro pool and soft play.
Have a look at all the fun we’ve been having!

We have also been working hard on our MOVE programmes and love to explore the school in our walking frames!

Week 3

This week we have had lots of fun continuing to explore our Pirate theme and getting to enjoy the sun outside. We had fun on rebound, in our soft play and at Twinkle House.
This week we made treasure map biscuits and decorated cakes for the coronation. We enjoyed exploring switches and working on our MOVE programmes.

Week 2

This week in Michelle’s class we had been very busy exploring our pirate themed topic. We have made rum and raisin bread in baking. We have worked hard on our MOVE and physio this week! We have had fun in rebound with Kayleigh and Julie. On Thursday we went to twinkle house and we enjoyed playing in the immersive suite with the under water programme. We took some sand and some treasure to play with whilst we were there. We have also had fun during our sensory story this week - we definitely like to play with the water spray bottles!

We have had a very busy first week back. We have started exploring all thing’s Pirate (our topic this half term), in our new Sensory Story, TacPac and Sensology resources and explored items relating to Eid. We enjoyed painting Star and crescent decorations and made coconut domes. We had fun looking for treasure in sand and finding jewels in our Treasure Chests.
