Spring Term 2

Our topic this term is ‘Our Life Around Us - Our Growing World’

Week 6 - This week we enjoyed a visit to Fairy Glen and enjoyed walking along the stream. We then went and had an Easter egg hunt and food chocolate eggs and sweets.

Week 5 - This week we have enjoyed beginning our new book ‘The Hungry Caterpillar’ and enjoyed going swimming.

Forest School

Week 4 - This week we have been matching pictures with words related to Mother’s Day. We have also been on a visit Waterstones to pick out a book using our world book day token and then had our dinner in the cafe.

Week 3 - This week we began our story ‘The Enormous Turnip’. We have enjoyed matching pictures, completing puzzles and threading vegetables.

Forest School

World Book Day - We enjoyed exploring our story ‘Dear Zoo’. We loved finding different animals from the story in their zoo boxes. We also took a visit to the book corner to choose a book.

Week 2 - This week we have been on a visit to Mere Sands Woods. We enjoyed walking around the woods looking at the ducks on the water and the flowers beginning to grown. We then had a visit to the cafe and enjoyed having some snack.

Week 1 - We have had a great first week back. We started the week celebrating Shrove Tuesday and enjoyed decorating some pancakes. We then begun our new topic ‘Spring’ and enjoyed threading some nature beads
