We have had a fantastic start to this term in Terri's Class.  Our theme for this term is 'Transport'.   We have been reading "The Naughty Bus" and seeing what mischief he's been getting up to!   The children have been exploring messy play, attention autism and have loved washing the cars in our car wash!  We have made some hot chocolate and cakes to keep us warm on these cold, frosty days.

Spring 1 Week 4

What a week we have had in Terri's Class!  In class, we have been busy playing, getting messy and learning all about different types of transport.

On Thursday, we went to the shops and bought some yummy treats for class. We looked at all of the houses and counted all the cars along the way. 

Spring Term 2 Week 1 and 2

We've had a fun week in Terri's Class.   We were invited to Acorns Primary School to take part in a dance session, which was all about exploring in the jungle!  We had lots of fun dancing and moving our bodies pretending to be wild animals. 

On Friday, we made some cakes at part of our sensory baking and had them for our snack...yummy!

What a busy week!

This week in Terri's Class,  we have walked to the new Aldi and bought some  treats for class.  We have made a space rocket out of different materials and pretended to blast off into space.  Finally on Friday afternoon, we all took park in the colour run.  

We had lots of fun!

Week 4

This week, we have started our new book 'The Gruffalo'

We have made our own Gruffalo's out of play doh and made some Gruffalo crumble!  On World Book Day, we had a sensory story outside .  The story was 'We're going on a Bear Hunt'.  We went through the  long, swishy grass and the thick oozy mud!

Lots of smiles and giggles!  On Friday, it was our lovely Mother's day afternoon.

Week 5

This week, the children in Terri's class have been learning and exploring.. We have a new Story 'Going on an Egg Hunt' which the children have loved!  On Thursday, we went shopping and looked at some yummy Easter eggs!

This week in Terri's class, we have made lots of crafts, played in the sand and water outside and had lots of Easter fun!  We had our Easter bonnet/hat parade on Wednesday which was exciting!   Thank you for helping your children make them, they were brilliant!
