Summer 2

15/7/24

Well, that’s a wrap!

What a fabulous week we have had to finish off the term. We have had so much fun with foam and water play, exploring bubbles, painting with sand paint, water paints, under he sea adventures and so much outdoor play and Forest school.

Have a wonderful summer holidays everyone.

8/7/24

It’s been a busy week in Nicola’s class, exploring the ocean and following our sensory story “The Mermaid”. Children have enjoyed sand and water play, a sea salt foot spa, lots of bubbles and sensory play and arts and crafts.

It’s been a wonderful week.

24/6/24

We’ve had a great week in Nicola’s class. We have been on an adventure in the big red bath, meeting lots of animals on the way. The children have enjoyed lots of water play and we have been learning our colours along the way too, exploring the sensory properties of colours, such as if they are connected to a certain smell, are they a warm or a cold colour and do they make you think of anything familiar.

Pop back next week to see more of what we have been up to on our Big Red Bath adventure.

17/6/24

We’ve had a wonderful week in Nicola’s class. Our new story is ‘The Big Red Bath’ and the children have really enjoyed it so far.

We have met lots of different animals in the story, a giraffe, hippo, flamingos, a lion and many more.

We enjoyed our first Forest School session on Friday too, it was a beautiful day for it, and the children loved exploring their new surroundings….. they didn’t want to leave (neither did the grown ups).

10/6/24

The children in Nicola’s class have had a wonderful week of deep sea adventures, following the story ‘Into the Blue’.

We have enjoyed lots of water play and learning different sea creatures.

We have also enjoyed our first session in our new, fabulous, light room.

Next week we will be carrying on our water themed fun with the story ‘The Big Red Bath’.

WB: 3/6/24

It’s been wonderful to welcome the children back this week.
We have taken a special trip ‘Into the Blue’ on our under the sea adventure. The children have loved this sensory story so far, especially the bubbles and sea creatures.

We have explored lots of water play and messy painting.

We will be continuing with our deep sea adventure next week, so check back for more exciting underwater learning.
