Spring 2 2024
Week beginning 25th March: This week we celebrated the beginning of the spring season with some Easter crafts, games, egg hunts & an Easter parade!
Week beginning 18th March: This week we are using multi-sensory props to learn about The Christian Easter story.
Week beginning 11th March: We’ve been reading and exploring the story of The Gruffalo!
We celebrated Mother’s Day by making gifts & cards for our mums and inviting them in for a play, cake & a cuppa!
World Book Day 07/03/2024 We dressed up as our favourite book characters and went on an outdoor story trail as we retold the story’We’re going on a bearhunt’.
Week beginning 26/02/24: This week we have been exploring cool colours in sensory art. We used spearmint scent and kept the paint in the fridge to represent its cool texture and visualisation.

We have had a great start to the term in Katie's class.
Our sensory story this week took us on a 'Magic Train Ride' to a jungle, under the water, in to space and even to cake land!
We have made cakes during sensory baking and made space pictures using chalk on black paper for an alternative sensory mark making experience. We hope you enjoy some of our photos from our busy week.
