Illness

Please find below the Policy for Illness Exclusion periods. We have this policy to safeguard all Children and Staff.

 

COVID related incidents will treated in line with the Government guidance at that specific time.

 

If your child is ill and you are unsure of how long they need to be away from school, please feel free to contact Jayne Wood on the school landline or mobile.

Policy for Exclusion Periods

ImpetigoUntil sores have healed
German Measles7 days after rash appeared
Whooping cough5 days after start of antibiotics
Hospital Stay

At least 24hrs at home before

returning to school

Stitches/Glue to a cut24hours after stitches/glue applied
