Our topic this half term is ‘All About Me & You'
Week 6: Our highlight this week was visiting Roby Mill to pick our own pumpkins!

Week 5: 10-14th October - This week we have been welcoming all the wonderful signs of Autumn. We read the story Leaf Man and explored different materials with leaves, conkers & pumpkins. In sensory baking we made apple & rhubarb crumble, yummy!
Week 4: 3rd - 7th October - This week we have been identifying our families in photos and stories, and learning about different types of families.
Week 3: 26th-30th September - This week we have been celebrating the Jewish festivals Rosh Hashannah & Sukkot. We made apple print crafts, apple cake and decorated cardboard box houses. This linked to our topic about our families and creating homes for sheltering our families. We also noticed some incidental Autumnal signs around our community which led to some conker painting and loose parts face making activities.
Week 2: 19th-23rd September - This week we have been celebrating Harvest. We explored a sensory story about Harvest on the farm, made Harvest crafts and visited St Paul’s church to deliver donations for the Harvest service.
Week 1: 12-16th September - We have been so happy to be back in school this week. We love our new outdoor provision and have had lots of fun exploring and learning all about us. We made pizza faces, paper plate face crafts, planted cress seeds, and worked on our gross motor mark-making! What a fantastic week we had!
Remembering Queen Elizabeth II. We sung the Queen’s national anthem for the last time using Makaton signing, read social stories about things that die and made some artwork in honour of our late queen.
