Our topic this term is ‘Life around us / our growing world’
Forest School
Week 6: Our story this week is Hansel & Gretel. We’ve had fun exploring multi-sensory props, baking cookies and decorating sweet houses!
Week 5: We went to Beacon Country Park to see the new Gruffalo carving.
Week 4: This week we celebrated Chinese New Year. We read a sensory story about Chinese New Year, made Chinese drums and sesame dough balls.

Week 3: This week it has been very cold and frosty so we have taken the opportunity to explore the signs of winter in our environment.
Week 2: This week we introduced the story ‘Bear snores on’. We explored the first few pages through multi-sensory promps, chopped vegetables to make hibernation stew and watched how corn kernels turn to popcorn when heated!

Week 1: Happy New Year! This week we have been settling back into school routines and welcoming the new calendar year through art work and baking.
