Summer Term 2
Week five - this week we have been working on our products for our enterprise at Summer Fest. Please make sure you take a look when you go next week. We have been having lots of fun in music and bounce. We have been enjoying our usual sensory regulation and trying out different swings.
Week four- well, having a week of scorching weather at the beginning of the week then freezing at the end was sometimes difficult. We kept cool at the beginning of the week having water play and making a den outside to shelter from the sun. The den later blew away with the high winds! We enjoyed music this week and learning body percussion. Some of us went swimming and were so amazing and confident! Well done Jess’ Class.
Week three - we have had lots of fun this week. In particular we have made some dragon boats for a Chinese Summer Solstice festival of Dragon Boat racing, and had fantastic oral sensory blowing them in the water. We have done some lovely art work and had lovely messy play. We have been working on our targets and enjoying some lovely weather towards the end of the week.
Forest school
Week two - Our first full week back! We have enjoyed sensology and playing the keyboard! We have had lots of fun in bounce and made some lovely Father’s Day gifts! We had a little visit from some dads too! We had an amazing time in the new light room as well. The children loved it and enjoyed playing with all the new equipment.
Week 1 - we hope you all had a fabulous half term. It was only a short week this week. On our first day back we had a fabulous time in Forest school with Ruth. We got back into routines and did lots of physical activity. We are working on counting objects one by one and some of us are finding the total of sets of objects or people! We’ve done lots of mark making too! Great first week back!
