It was lovely to see all the children back from the Easter break.  

This term, our topic is "Let's Explore" which is exciting as we will be exploring nature and different minibeasts.  

The children have settled in well and have took part in various activities through the school week.  We have been to Aldi to buy our fruit for our yummy fruit kebabs.  We practiced our cutting and fine motor skills by cutting the fruit and placing it on the skewers.  I was very impressed!

Week 2

This week we have enjoyed our swimming lessons and had lots of fun!  We have been working on our turn taking in class by playing games and taking turns on the interactive whiteboard.  

Next week, Terri's class will be looking at different birds and making bird feeders for our sensory garden!

This week in Terri's Class, we have been learning about birds.  We made bird feeders and put them in the forest school area for the birds to eat!  We had a good swimming session and have played out in the sunshine!

This week, we have been doing lots of outdoor learning in this lovely weather!  We have been mark making with flour and using the chalks outside.  On Thursday, we walked to Aldi to buy our snacks and different fruits for class.

Next week, we have a new story "The Very Hungry Caterpillar"

This week in Terri's Class, we have read our new story The Very Hungry Caterpillar and have enjoyed exploring fruits.  We have a new interactive sandpit which the children have loved...and the staff!

We have had an exciting week in Terri's Class.  We have been for a walk to the local park and had a music session called "Music Rocks"!  We explored the different instruments and what sounds they made...We loved the keyboard the best!
