Summer Term 2

Week 6

This week in Michelle’s class we used our fingerprints to make balloons for our ‘Up’ house and visited the shops to buy snack. Also some of us were very excited to be able to go out on the school bus to go on a day trip to Blackpool Zoo. We had lots of fun and enjoyed seeing all the animals. We were all very tired on Friday after our adventures and had a lovely day using our new switch toys and relaxing with story massage.

Week 5

This has been another busy week in Michelle’s class, we made some number rhyme resources using salt dough, the heart of Te Fiti suncatcher in our art session and enjoyed popping some bubbles outside in the sun.

This week we also enjoyed a trip to Warbreck Garden Centre where we looked at the plants and enjoyed breakfast.

Forest School

Week 4

This week we have been very creative, we enjoyed using party poppers and syringes to make our lovely canvas prints to sell during Summerfest, we mixed shaving foam with glue and food colouring to make puffy paint ice creams and we used finger paints to decorate out bunting. We also said a sad goodbye to Nic and had a farewell tea party to wish her good luck in her new job.

Week 3

We continue to be very busy in class and work hard on our MOVE programmes. We have enjoyed ripping tissue paper and scrunching it to make Aladdins genie lamp and we really got stuck in making the Queen of Hearts jam tarts, getting very messy exploring all of the ingredients!
We have done lots of switch work this week, using switches to control the interactive screen, toys and even our classroom fan!
