Autumn 2 2023

Our topics this half term are 'Music & Movement' & ‘Christmas’

Week beginning 11th December: This week we have made lots of Christmas crafts and celebrated Christmas with our class Christmas party and Christmas dinner.

Week beginning 4th December - We were all amazing in our first public performance this week. We also had a wonderful time at the local church, getting festive and honouring the true meaning of Christmas within our local community.

Week beginning 27th November: We are beginning to feel festive as the icy weather creeps in and we are preparing for Christmas. This week we have been making Christmas crafts, decorating school and making houses for the Elves using Duplo!

Week beginning 20th November: This week we focused our learning on the nursery rhymes ‘Row, row, your boat’, ‘Head, shoulders, knees and toes’, and ‘Wheels on the bus’. We also went on a bus ride to Ruff Woods.

Week beginning 13th November: This week we started tooth brushing as part of our life skills programme. We have been familiarising ourselves with the brushes and flavours of toothpaste, whilst following a visual sequence.

Week beginning 6th November: This week we have noticed that people in our community are wearing Poppies . We listened to a Remembrance sensory poem, made poppy crafts, and visited the local Cenotaph.

Week beginning 30.10.23 - This week we have re established routines after the half term break and celebrated Halloween!
