Doughnuts with Dad Afternoon
Wed 07 Jun 2023Please let your child's class know if you will be joining us by 12pm on Friday, 9th June, via EduLink or email.
Join us for a 'Doughnuts with Dad' afternoon.
On Friday 16th June, we will be holding a 'Doughnuts with Dad' afternoon for the Dads (or a special male) of Kingsbury children. From 2pm onwards, you can enjoy a doughnut and drink with your child(ren) here at school.
*This is a FREE event for the parent/carers of children who attend Kingsbury Primary School*

We use a lot of everyday resources in our teaching and learning and appreciate any support in ensuring we can continue to provide this for our children.
Below is a list of resources that we are in need of at school this month....
Food colouring
Food flavourings (any i.e. apple, peppermint, Vanilla)
Corn Flour
So if you're heading to the supermarket throughout the month and are able to add an extra item to your basket to donate to our school, we would REALLY appreciate it.

The Next Kingsbury Challenge - Yorkshire 3 Peaks
Fri 19 May 2023KINGSBURY PRIMARY SCHOOL TAKES ON THE YORKSHIRE 3 PEAKS!
A group of our amazing staff team are taking on a huge challenge of a 24 mile hike over the Yorkshire 3 Peaks on 23rd July.
They are taking on the challenge to raise funds for our school to support our children and help them get the best from the curriculum and the learning environment.
You can donate by clicking the link below or we are accepting cash donations at school. Simply send your donation into school in an envelope with your child's name on clearly stating 'Donation for Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge'.

Lancashire Break Time Registrations are now OPEN!
Tue 16 May 2023Break Time registrations are now open for anyone who missed the February deadline for this years applications.
Complete the form at: https://www.lancashire.gov.uk/.../things-to-do/break-time/
This is for current year applications (April 2023 - March 2024), for anyone that didn't complete the form in January/February.
If your child is already registered for the current year, Lancashire will let you know when it's time to renew.

SEND Information Events
Mon 15 May 2023Don't miss the next SEND Information Event!
Lancashire Local Offer will be at the Park Child and Family Centre in Accrington on Tuesday 16th May. Or if you would prefer something closer to Skelmersdale, they will be at Twinkle House NW on Wednesday 7th June.
Call in between 10am and 2pm to meet reps from SEND services and local groups.

Triple P - Stepping Stones Parenting Course
Wed 03 May 2023West Lancashire Children and Family Wellbeing Service are starting a new Triple P - Stepping Stones course on Tuesday 6th June. It is a course which is specifically for parents of children aged 2-12 years who have additional needs.
