• World Down Syndrome Day 2023

  Last Tuesday, 21st March, Shell's class celebrated World Down Syndrome Day! The 'Lots Of Socks' campaign is designed to get people talking about Down Syndrome and help raise more awareness. 

  World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD) is a global awareness day which has been officially recognised by the United Nations since 2012!

• Red Nose Day 2023

  Red Nose Day 2023

  Last Friday, 17th March, we joined the nation and helped raise money for the Comic Relief/Red Nose Day Charity. We had lots of fun completing different activities and we even got to throw wet sponges at the Senior Leadership Team as well as cover Josh and Eddie in baked beans and spaghetti hoops! 

   

  As a school we raised a total of £85.60! Thank you to you all for your donations.

  A Cuppa & Cake Afternoon

  Last Thursday, 16th March 2023, we held a Cuppa and Cake afternoon for all the Mum's and Special Ladies in our children's lives. It was a lovely afternoon for all, with plenty of smiles and chatter.

• A Cuppa & Cake Afternoon - Mother's Day Event Invite

  Join us for a Mother's Day Cuppa & Cake Afternoon!

   

  Next Thursday, 16th March, we will be holding a 'Cuppa & Cake' afternoon for the Mums (or a special lady) of Kingsbury children. From 2pm onwards, you can enjoy a cup of tea (or coffee) and a piece of cake with your child(ren) here at school.

   

  Please let your child's class know if you will be joining us by 12pm on Tuesday 14th March via EduLink or email.

• Red Nose Day 2023

  RED NOSE DAY 2023 🔴

   

  On Friday 17th March, we will be celebrating Red Nose Day. As a school we are planning on doing 'Something Funny For Money'; we will have lots of silly activities, some messy and funny and also some silly pranks on the teachers.

   

  Please note - Unfortunately, this years noses are unsuitable for under 7years of age due to the design (please see screenshot from the RND website), so unfortunately we will not be selling them at school. Please DO NOT send your child into school with a Red Nose; alternatively, why not paint their nose red instead!

   

  We are asking if you could donate 50p to the RND charity and your child can come into school in their own clothes, or their uniform, whatever your child feels most comfortable in 🙂
