Introduction to TEACCH Approach

The TEACCH approach is a practical, structured way to support students with autism by using visual tools, clear routines, and a focus on individual strengths. For teachers, TEACCH workshops offer hands-on training in how to set up a structured classroom, use visual supports effectively, and tailor teaching strategies to meet each student’s needs. These workshops are a great way to gain confidence and practical skills you can use right away to make your classroom more inclusive and supportive.

The aim of our TEACCH Workstations and Social Stories workshop is to equip participants with the knowledge and tools needed to build on the strengths that many children with Autism can have such as visual, detail and memory. The sessions will focus on how providing a structured environment with a predictable sequence of activities, visuals and routines can help children to be more successful learners.
