Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility.
At Kingsbury, we are committed to ensuring every child is safe, happy, listened to, and supported to achieve their best outcomes.
If you are worried about a child, please contact a member of our safeguarding team immediately.
- Call 999 if a child is in immediate danger

Report a Concern
I'm a parent/carer
Please get in touch with one of our Designated Safeguarding Officers using the information above. You can also call the school office at either our Skelmersdale site (01695 722991) or Kingsbury Cottage (01695 666745) and ask to speak to a safeguarding lead who will be happy to help.
No concern is too small.
We would always rather speak to you early so that support can be provided before difficulties escalate.
I'm a professional
If you are a professional who works within school and has a safeguarding concern please raise it with one of our Designated Safeguarding Leads. Alternatively, you can request support for the family directly: Requesting support from Children's Services - Lancashire County Council
On there you can find referral forms for help, or request advice from MASH (Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub).
I'm worried about a child
As a first port of call, we would recommend getting in touch with a Designated Safeguarding Lead in school, or any trusted adult, who can point you in the right direction.
You can report suspected child abuse through the NSPCC by calling 0808 800 5000 or emailing help@nspcc.org.uk
Childline can offer support and advice for under 18s and can be a good place to point children to when they need support.
