Using Visuals to Support Communication

The Communicating with Symbols session at Kingsbury will provide you with an overview of using symbols to both support language development and expression. You will receive practical advice on modelling and supporting symbol use with pre-verbal children. You will also be introduced to the concept of core and fringe vocabulary.
