Key Worker System

If your child attends Kingsbury Primary School you should now have received a letter to let you know that we're implemeting a Key Worker system across the school. 

Each child will be allocated a member of staff who will be their Key Worker. The purpose of this role is to strengthen communication between home and school and ensure that every child has an adult in school who regularly checks in on their wellbeing, progress, and overall experience in school. 

It is important to note that a Key Worker is not a 1:1 support member of staff. They will act as a consistent point of contact for families and will: 

• Get to know your child well
• Check in with them regularly throughout each week
• Make regular contact with you to discuss how your child is getting on in school and to ensure that home and school are working closely together to support their development.
