Educational Visits

At Kingsbury we feel educational visits are essential as they helps develop life skills, independence and well as personal, social and emotional skills. All visits are risk assessed and evaluated by class staff and approved our educational visits leader through Lancashire EVOLVE. Each week, every class goes on a educational visit. Our children travel by foot, on public transport or on our school minibus.

All our Year 6 children had an amazing time at Borwick Hall. They enjoyed bouldering, canoeing, climbing, a rope course across a pond and an Adventure Day exploring Cathedral Quarry.  We had lots of fun and everyone was really brave and took part in all the activities. Well done Year 6 we are so proud of you all. smiley

On Friday 12th June we entered a football tournament against 5 other local GLD schools. We won 4 out of 5 games scoring lots of goals and went through to the final. Sadly we lost in the final but put up a great fight. One very proud football manager!!! More importantly 6 very well behaved children, excellent team players and great team spirit. So proud of you all, you are a credit to Kingsbury School
